Assam will become part of Bangladesh if number of immigrants rise by another 10 pc: Himanta

Assam's Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma voiced concerns about the state's demographic balance. He stated that a 10 percent increase in the Bangladeshi-origin population could lead to Assam's inclusion in Bangladesh. Sarma has been highlighting this issue for five years.
