AI profiling of traffickers at airports, screening of students in varsities part of India's maiden drug control vision

India will deploy AI passenger profiling and drug screening in educational institutions. This national roadmap aims to combat drug trafficking over the next three years. The plan includes strengthening airport interdiction and establishing independent narcotic cells. Digital tracking of pharmaceutical drugs and regulating e-pharmacies are also key initiatives. The government will also focus on deporting foreign nationals and dismantling drug cartels.
