Following the theatrical release of Ramayana: Part 1 on November 5, Vivek Oberoi took to social media to share a heartfelt note celebrating the film and the people who brought its world to life. The actor, who plays Vidyuthjiva in Nitesh Tiwaris mythological epic, described the project as a significant contribution to Indian culture and acknowledged the efforts of its cast and crew. Addressing producer Namit Malhotra, Vivek wrote, My brother Namit Malhotra, Ramayana is not just a film, its a MahaYagya for Bhartiya culture & values and playing Vidyuthjiva is my small Ahuti in this Mahayagya! Thank you for pushing me to do this bhai! He also praised the scale of the project, calling it a defining moment for Indian cinema. Recalling the sequence featuring Ravanas ten heads, he added, Just brilliant! The actor was equally appreciative of Ranbir Kapoors portrayal of Lord Rama.
