Zack Snyder reveals why he didn't cast Christian Bale as Batman

In a recent interview, director Zack Snyder disclosed that Christian Bale's time as Batman was officially over, which is why he didn't reprise the role in 'Batman V Superman'. Snyder pointed out that any talks of Bale returning would only be plausible if his version of the caped crusader was still in action, not hanging up the cowl.
