Shakti Samanta's son revealed Sharmila Tagore initially desired a bikini for 'An Evening in Paris', but the filmmaker suggested a one-piece. Shammi Kapoor, initially fearful of a helicopter stunt, fortified himself with brandy. Samanta himself recalled Tagore's initial insistence on a two-piece for a song, which he ultimately convinced her against for censor reasons.
