Shabana Azmi says Javed Akhtar wrote a letter to PM Narendra Modi before joining protests

Veteran actor Shabana Azmi joined a protest march in Delhi. She expressed solidarity with students protesting the NEET paper leak controversy. Azmi urged the media to focus on the core issues of the protest. She and Javed Akhtar had written to the Prime Minister requesting dialogue. Other film personalities also voiced support for the students' peaceful demonstrations.
