Iran says Indian ships exempt from Strait of Hormuz restrictions, urges military to consider Qatar peace proposal

Iran has exempted Indian vessels from restrictions in the Strait of Hormuz, along with ships from China, Iraq, and Qatar. The exemption aims to facilitate India's medicine imports while acknowledging China's political and economic relations. Senior Iranian leaders are advocating for a Qatari-brokered proposal to prevent renewed conflict with the United States. Diplomatic efforts are ongoing, despite assessments suggesting a renewed conflict may be likely.
