No Kartik Aaryan release in 2026, but National Award-winning actor to have THREE releases in FIRST 6 months of 2027 - Naagzilla, Anurag Basus love saga, Ladaku
Kartik Aaryan is on a roll and has been delivering memorable performances across diverse genres. At the box office, he has emerged as a dependable actor. Moreover, his National Award win for Chandu Champion (2024) further cemented his reputation as a talented performer. The actor has consistently had at least one theatrical release almost every year. However, in a rare instance, not a single Kartik Aaryan film arrived in cinemas in 2026. But his fans have plenty to look forward to, as the actor is gearing up for not one or two, but three releases in 2027, all within the first six months of the year! Kartik Aaryan will begin 2027 on a quirky note with Naagzilla. The fantasy comedy features Kartik as a shape-shifting naag, with Ravi Kishan also appearing in a crucial role. It is directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba of Fukrey fame and releases on February 12, 2027. Naagzilla is produced by Karan Johars Dharma Productions and Mahaveer Jains Mahaveer Jain Films. 2 months later, Kartik Aaryan will be seen in what promises to be his most intense romantic on-screen avatar to date. South sensation Sreeleela is paired opposite him in this untitled flick, which is directed by Anurag Basu. Recently, T-Series announced that itll be released on April 30, 2027. The film has caught attention due to Kartiks look and also because it belongs to a genre that is working well in cinemas. The music is also expected to be a highlight. And earlier today, it came to light that Kartik Aaryans next with Chandu Champion director Kabir Khan will release on June 18, 2027. The makers also announced that the heart-tugging, inspiring film is titled Ladaku. Ladaku is produced by Birla Studios, Kabir Khan Entertainment and, also, marks the debut of Kartik Aaryan as a producer with Dopamine Studios. As per the official statement, Ladaku narrates an extraordinary real-life story of ambition, grit and hope. As per reports, Ladaku is inspired by the life of kickboxer Tajamul Islam, Indias youngest two-time world kickboxing champion. Kartik Aaryan reportedly plays the role of his coach. Interestingly, 2026 marks only the third year in Kartik Aaryans 15-year career when he has not had a single theatrical release, after 2012 and 2016. However, the actor is all set to make up for his absence with three releases in the first half of 2027. With all three films belonging to different genres, Kartik has a promising opportunity to showcase his versatility and score a hat-trick of successes at the box office.
