Koffee With Karan 9: Kareena Kapoor Khan recalls running on the road in nightwear to get Saif Ali Khan to the hospital after he was attacked; reveals Taimur asked, Abba are you going to die?

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan returned to the iconic couch of Koffee With Karan for Season 9, making a special appearance ahead of the festive Diwali weekend. Saif and Kareena spoke candidly about the January 2025 attack at their Bandra residence, offering a glimpse into the terrifying moments that followed the incident. Opening up about the immediate aftermath of the home invasion, Kareena recalled how she rushed to arrange medical assistance for Saif, who had sustained multiple stab injuries during the confrontation with an intruder. The actress revealed that she was in her nightwear when she ran out onto the road to find a rickshaw. Recounting the moment, Saif said, Kareena was hailing a rickshaw in the night. Kareena responded, In my night tee shirt. Luckily no one got that on video. Saif added, In a short tee shirt. Would have been quite a video. Recalling the panic she experienced, Kareena said, I was screaming on the road. When Saif asked what she was screaming, she explained, I was like ruko ruko It was like a movie scene. I was in my shorts, in my night pyjamas. I didnt have the time to put on my pyjamas. I have run on the road. Nobody knows this. I am saying this for the first time. I was literally in my t-shirt that was till here (pointing out the short tee that landed higher than mid-thigh). And running like a mad crazy woman trying to get a rickshaw while he was bleeding, holding himself. The actress also recalled the heartbreaking moment when she saw Saif inside the lift after the attack. What made the situation even more distressing was their elder son Taimur witnessing his father's condition. Kareena revealed, I looked at Saif in the lift and I was like when I saw him 'Saif dont do this.' Tim (Taimur) just looked at him and the first thing he said was, 'Abba are you going to die?' I just looked at Saif and he just gave me that look, that said, 'Take me to the hospital.' Saif, who subsequently underwent emergency medical treatment, also reflected on the emotional impact of the incident and how it affected the family. The attack had brought an unexpected and frightening situation into their home, leaving the couple to deal with its immediate consequences while ensuring Saif received medical attention.
