UPSSSC is starting the online application process for Lekhpal Recruitment 2026 today for 7,994 posts across Uttar Pradesh. The recruitment has drawn attention after the commission revised the category-wise vacancy list, increasing OBC, SC and ST posts following objections over reservation rules. The revised list reduces General category seats while keeping EWS numbers unchanged. Eligible candidates can apply online within the notified schedule and selection will follow PET-based shortlisting.
