SMC recruitment 2026 opens 1924 posts for clerks, engineers and medical officers; apply from April 1

Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) has announced Recruitment 2026 to fill 1924 vacancies across 45 posts, including Clerk, Engineers, Medical Officers, Staff Nurses, Drivers and Technical Assistants. The short notification was issued under Advertisement No. P.R.O./739/2025-26. Online applications will open on April 1, 2026 and close on April 11, 2026 through the official website. The selection process will include a written examination, skill or practical test, document verification and a medical examination.
