SC gives teeth to the RTE Acts 25% quota for children from weaker sections: 10 things parents must know now

The Supreme Court has tightened how the RTE 25 percent quota must work for children from weaker sections and disadvantaged groups. The quota is not new, but the Court says states cannot run it on loose guidelines and portal procedures that shut parents out.
