NMC approves 50 more MBBS seats at GMC Srinagar, intake rises to 250 from 2026-27

Government Medical College Srinagar will add fifty new MBBS seats. This significant increase will take the annual intake to two hundred fifty students. The National Medical Commission has approved these additional seats for the upcoming academic year. This expansion follows a previous increase in seats approved just last year. The move aims to enhance medical education and healthcare services across Jammu and Kashmir.
