MBOSE postpones two Class 12 board exams in violence-hit West Garo Hills; new dates later

Meghalaya Board of School Education postponed two Class 12 exams in West Garo Hills due to tribal and non-tribal clashes over local council poll nominations. Music and Anthropology papers scheduled for March 11 and 12 are deferred. The decision was made after curfew imposition and the deployment of the Army following two deaths in police firing during the violence.
