How Telegram's message-editing tool helped fabricate NEET paper leak 'evidence'

Ahead of the NEET (UG) 2026 re-examination, India has temporarily restricted access to Telegram following the National Testing Agency's recommendation. This move aims to combat cheating rackets and fraud networks exploiting candidates with fake paper leak claims. The platform's message-editing feature has also been disabled to prevent the creation of false evidence of leaks.
