Delhis school fee law goes live: What changes for parents and schools this academic year

Delhi's new education act aims to curb arbitrary private school fee hikes. The law mandates itemized fee heads, caps on certain charges, and prohibits disguised capitation fees. User-based services must be no-profit, no-loss. A School-Level Fee Regulation Committee, including parents, will now approve fee structures, ensuring transparency and predictability for three years.
