ITR Filing 2026: CBDT upgrades income tax portal before July 31 deadline, Key changes explained

The Finance Ministry has told Parliament that the Income Tax Department has strengthened the e-filing portal to handle peak traffic during the return filing season, with infrastructure capable of processing up to 1 crore ITRs a day.
