Young couple wanted to marry but died in tragic accident. Families honoured them with a wedding at their joint funeral

Two 20-year-old Franciscan University students, Mary Mich and Luke Reimer, were found dead inside a parked car just steps away from Marys dorm in Ohio. Police said the deaths were accidental and caused by carbon monoxide poisoning linked to a vehicle exhaust issue. The couple, who had been together for a year, were deeply in love and already talking about marriage and their future plans. In the days after the tragedy, their families chose to honour that bond by treating their joint funeral as a wedding.
