World spent 33 times more on destroying nature than on protecting it: UN Report

Global spending on nature protection lags far behind nature destruction. While $220 billion was spent to protect nature in 2023, $7.3 trillion was spent on its destruction. The private sector drives this harmful spending. To meet global commitments, investments in nature-based solutions must triple by 2030.
