Advance bookings for Jana Nayagan have opened across several Indian cities, and the response has been strong even with premium ticket prices. In Bengaluru, some recliner seats are priced at 2,500 and several early shows have already sold out. Chennai has kept ticket prices capped, but theatres still reported thousands of bookings within minutes. Directed by H. Vinoth, Vijays much-anticipated film is set to release on July 23 after a seven-month delay.
