Tribunal directs Delhi govt to file status report on illegal tree felling in Chhatarpur

The National Green Tribunal has ordered the Delhi government to submit a status report. This report concerns illegal tree cutting and forest land encroachment in Chhatarpur. A joint committee's report confirmed 28 trees were illegally felled without permission. The government stated action is being initiated against those responsible for encroachment.
