The Khasi Students Union objects to presence of temple inside CBI campus in Shillong

The Khasi Students' Union objected to a temple's construction on government land. They allege illegal construction violated land allotment purposes and served an ultimatum. KSU supporters locked the under-construction temple and demanded its demolition within one week. A KSU delegation met the CBI DIG to voice their strong objections. The union warned of further agitation if the structure is not removed promptly.
