Delhi based gastro specialist Dr Anshuman Kaushal has sparked conversation after posting an Instagram video debunking widespread fears about protein. He clarified that whey protein is safe for healthy adults and said problems arise mainly from extreme intake and poor quality supplements. Explaining protein types, he highlighted whey, casein, animal sources and plant blends. Citing FSSAI and NIN reports, he warned that fake products pose bigger risks than protein itself, urging evidence based, medically guided choices.
