Solar power curtailment of 8133 GWh in April-June this year: Govt

India experienced significant solar power curtailment due to grid limitations. The PM Surya Ghar scheme has seen widespread applications and installations. Over 4.8 million households have benefited from rooftop solar installations. Central Financial Assistance totaling over Rs 27,000 crore has been disbursed. Many beneficiaries are now enjoying substantially reduced or zero electricity bills.
