Filmmaker Priyadarshan has admitted that he made one major mistake while making the 2009 film Billu, which starred Irrfan Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Speaking to Pinkvilla, the director said including too many songs weakened the screenplay and affected the emotional impact of a key scene involving Shah Rukh Khans character.
