SC directs Uttar Pradesh DGP to form SIT to probe minor's rape & murder in Ghaziabad

The Supreme Court has ordered the Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police to form a special investigation team. This team will probe the tragic case of a four-year-old girl's rape and murder in Ghaziabad. The court expressed dissatisfaction with the local police's investigation. The SIT will also examine the role of two hospitals that allegedly refused treatment to the child.
