Rs 5 lakh loan, an emotional memory with father: Salman Khan recalls borrowing money for the first expensive purchase of his life

Salman Khan recently shared that the first expensive thing he bought after entering films was a Rolex watch for his father Salim Khan. The actor revealed that the watch cost around Rs 9 lakh at the time, and since he could not afford the full amount, he took a loan to complete the purchase. Salman also recalled how his father initially scolded him for spending so much money early in his career before later calling the watch a piece of jewelry.
