Railway Board Chairman Satish Kumar gets one year extension

Satish Kumar's tenure as Chairman Railway Board is extended. The Appointments Committee of Cabinet made the decision. Kumar will now retire on September 1, 2026. He assumed the role of Chairman and CEO on September 1, 2024. Kumar is an officer from the 1986 batch. His work includes the Fog Safe Device.
