No TV ratings agency registered under new policy yet; viewership data unlikely to resume soon, says govt

Currently, television ratings agencies have yet to register under the enhanced government policy, which includes tough compliance measures such as appointing independent directors to BARC's board. The Kerala High Court has removed its stay on the landing-page provision, but it appears that the resumption of television viewership data will not occur anytime soon.
