Nearly half of Indian two-wheeler buyers eye EVs: BCG report

Around 43 percent of two-wheeler buyers are considering electric vehicles, showing a notable increase since 2024. The outright rejection of electric options has decreased from 38 percent to 29 percent among potential buyers. Electric two-wheelers now represent 9.9 percent of overall sales, a growth from 5.5 percent in previous years. As consumer ratings improve, major concerns remain regarding longevity and rough-road capabilities of these vehicles.
