Kara OTT release date update: When and where to watch the Tamil heist action-thriller starring Dhanush

Kara starring Dhanush has been performing steadily in theatres since its April 30 release despite facing competition from the ongoing political climate in Tamil Nadu. Directed by Vignesh Raja, the rural action-thriller has reportedly secured its digital rights with Netflix and is expected to premiere online either in late May or June 2026 after completing its theatrical run. The film also stars Mamitha Baiju and follows Karasaami, a man drawn back into crime while trying to save his family from debt and financial ruin.
