India launches UPI at department store in France

India's digital payment system, UPI, has expanded its global reach with a launch at Galeries Lafayette in Nice, France. This move strengthens economic and technological ties between India and France. Following its introduction at the Eiffel Tower earlier this year, UPI is now available in nine countries. This allows Indian travelers to make easy payments abroad using familiar platforms.
