Himanta Biswa Sarma to take the oath as the Chief Minister of Assam on May 12

Himanta Biswa Sarma will be sworn in as Assam's Chief Minister on May 12. He was elected leader of the BJP Legislature Party and NDA Legislature Party. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has blessed the BJP for a third term in Assam. Sarma expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP National President Nitin Nabin.
