Govt revamps housing ministry with two new departments

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has been reorganized into two distinct departments. The Department of Capital Development will manage Delhi and Union government functions. The Department of Urban Development will oversee national urban policy and housing initiatives. This restructuring separates national capital administration from broader urban development efforts. Stationery and publications are now assigned to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
