An employees Reddit post has gone viral after they claimed their employer refused to accept their resignation unless they agreed to work for two months without pay. The employee said they quit due to delayed salaries and poor work culture and argued that two months of unpaid wages should count as salary in lieu of notice, as mentioned in their contract. The employer allegedly disagreed, insisting on what they called an unpaid notice period and raising concerns about withholding an experience letter.
