Eating healthy and exercising but still gaining weight? Hyderabad neurologist says you may be missing this one habit

Hyderabad-based neurologist Dr Sudhir Kumar has highlighted a new study suggesting that sleep may be the missing link in weight management. According to the research, reducing sleep by about 80 minutes a night for six weeks led to an average weight gain of 0.45 kg, a larger waistline and more sedentary behaviour. The doctor stressed that healthy weight management rests on three pillars: a balanced diet, regular exercise and seven to nine hours of quality sleep.
