DoT won't accept new applications from Nov 10

From November 10, the Department of Telecommunication will no longer accept new licence applications. This temporary suspension is a preparatory step for implementing the new authorisation framework dictated by the Telecommunications Act 2023. Existing licences will automatically evolve upon renewal, but telcos are understandably anxious about possible alterations in their contracts.
