Dharmendra almost fatally injured Amitabh Bachchan while filming superhit movie

Amitabh Bachchan faced a near-fatal incident during Sholay's filming. A gun fired unexpectedly, missing Bachchan by a fraction of an inch. The cinematographer refused to continue filming due to safety concerns. Director Ramesh Sippy calmed the set and addressed the accidental mishap. Dharmendra apologized for the near-tragedy.
