Delhi Apollo doctor calls capitals air an inflammatory cocktail: Says, 'we are all chain smokers without the party'

A video by Apollo Hospitals Surgical Gastroenterology specialist Dr Anshuman Kaushal has intensified alarm over Delhis extreme air pollution. Comparing daily breathing in the capital to chain smoking, he warned that PM 2.5 levels recently reached 450, nearly 30 times the WHO limit. Citing studies, he highlighted reduced lung function in children and increased risks of cancer and heart disease. Calling the smog an inflammatory crisis, he urged urgent collective action to prevent long-term health damage.
