Cairn Oil & Gas announces gas discovery in Ambe

Cairn Oil & Gas, part of Vedanta Ltd, has found new natural gas reserves. The discovery is located below the Ambe gas field in western offshore. This find was made in the Ambe-2A appraisal well. Cairn is evaluating the potential for field development. The company plans to drill two more wells.
