The new Bengaluru-Mumbai Vande Bharat Sleeper takes about 16 hours, saving 6 to 12 hours over Udyan, Chalukya, Coimbatore and other trains. A flight takes under two hours but costs Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000 or more. The sleeper sits in the middle, with a 3AC fare near Rs 2,700 to Rs 3,000.
