Andhra approves Rs 4,000-crore ReNew Photovoltaics solar ingot, wafer facility

Andhra Pradesh has approved a major solar manufacturing plant. ReNew Photovoltaics will build a Rs 4,000-crore facility in Anakapalli district. This project aims to boost India's solar capacity and reduce reliance on imported components. The plant is expected to be operational by January 2028, creating many jobs.
