AIIMS doctors identify Red Alert Zone to reduce risks in complex cancer surgery

AIIMS doctors have recognized two critical anatomical zones during complex cancer surgeries in women. These zones help reduce bleeding and prevent injuries to vital organs. One zone, known as 'Ray's Zone', is crucial for surgeries involving the pelvic area. The other, 'Ray's Hepatocaval Triangle', assists during liver mobilization near major vessels. Identifying these zones enhances surgical precision and patient outcomes in oncological procedures.
