16 India-bound fertiliser ships stranded in Strait of Hormuz: Govt

Sixteen ships carrying vital fertilisers are currently held up in the Strait of Hormuz. These vessels are en route to India. Despite this situation, the government states there is no immediate concern for fertiliser availability. India has already imported significant quantities and is seeking more to meet the demands of the ongoing sowing season. Local production has also been enhanced.
