CBSE Mandates Accurate Student Information for Marksheets

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has mandated that schools ensure the accuracy of student information, including names and dates of birth, to prevent errors on Class 10 and 12 marksheets. Schools are required to verify details at multiple stages, providing parents with opportunities to confirm records. Despite these measures, many correction requests are submitted post-results, often incomplete. CBSE emphasizes the importance of maintaining 100% accuracy in student records and has outlined strict guidelines for schools to follow. This initiative aims to streamline the verification process and reduce discrepancies in student documentation.
