Who is Anish Dayal Singh, PM Modis new Deputy NSA

Anish Dayal Singh, a 1988-batch IPS officer from the Manipur cadre, was appointed Deputy National Security Advisor to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday. Singh, who earlier headed the CRPF, played a key role in anti-Naxal operations, election security, and force restructuring. He has also led the ITBP and held senior positions in the Intelligence Bureau.
