Washington Sundar ruled out of 1st Test; Nitish Kumar Reddy, Harshit Rana unlikely for entire Sri Lanka tour

Washington Sundar is out for the first Test against Sri Lanka due to injury. Nitish Kumar Reddy and Harshit Rana are unlikely to join the Indian squad. Jasprit Bumrah will rest until July 30 before reporting to Bengaluru. B Sai Sudharsan's availability also depends on his fitness recovery. The Indian team will tour Sri Lanka for a two-Test series next month.
