Ukraine to acquire Swedish fighter jets in $2.90 billion defence deal

Sweden and Ukraine have forged a pivotal defense pact, with Sweden ready to supply a total of 20 Gripen E/F fighter jets to Ukraine's air force. Alongside this, 16 Gripen C/D jets will be donated, significantly strengthening Ukraine's military prowess. The financing for this substantial acquisition will be facilitated via a European loan, highlighting collaborative efforts to enhance regional security.
