Thali costs rise in April on higher tomato, vegetable oil, LPG prices

Home-cooked vegetarian and non-vegetarian thali costs rose 2% year-on-year in April, primarily due to increased prices of tomatoes, vegetable oil, and LPG. While onion and potato prices fell, contributing to a partial offset, broiler prices also saw a 2% increase for non-veg thalis.
