Suvendu Adhikari writes to CEC, seeks removal of 'biased' police officers during Bengal assembly polls

Senior BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari said he has written to the Chief Election Commissioner seeking the removal of police officers he alleges are biased ahead of next years West Bengal assembly polls. He claimed some officers openly expressed support for Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at a recent convention and should not be assigned poll duties.
